“Just when I thought orange is my accent colour for 2025 ..,
I love bright colours, also high contrast. When my children bought a colour analysis package for me, I had just ordered a custom made pale orange spectacle frame. I thought I know my colours season - a winter person, black/white/brights. I put my order on hold.
Latisha, of Your SZN, tried out many colours on me. Hmmn, turns out I am a clear summer. I resisted that analysis at first, especially when my recommended neutral was a dark ashy brown. My wardrobe is filled with black! But I did ask for Latisha to be critical and did want to hear her advice.
When I came home, looked my wardrobe, and checked my clothes against her written and emailed notes, I see that she is right. I had been aware for a while that I couldn’t wear a bright right anymore. Our skin colour changes when we age. I realise my clothing purchases over the last year were mostly dark blue, sky blue and a lemony yellow, all part of the clear summer range of colours.
Latisha also advises on jewellery. Thank goodness I can still wear silver! I recommend women who are 65 and older, who stop colouring their hair, ask for a colour analysis as a birthday present. Those spectacle frames are going to be blue!”
