Online colour analysis is just as accurate as an in-person session. The key is the photos. Thousands of leading colour analysts around the world use this same process to analyse their clients remotely, and it delivers reliable results when your photos are taken correctly. Follow the photo instructions carefully and you'll receive an accurate result. If I need more information or additional photos, I'll reach out to you before I begin your analysis.
NO! Apps and AI tools can be a fun starting point, but they're limited by the photo they're given. Lighting, camera settings and screen colour all shift how your skin appears, and software can't always tell the difference between your natural undertone and a warm light bulb. A trained colour analyst looks at how colours interact with your features as a whole, not just a single pixel reading.We know when another photo or video is required to be submitted.
Good photos make the biggest difference to your result. Here's what to do:
- Stand under a balcony or inside facing a window in natural daylight, ideally mid-morning or early afternoon. Avoid direct sun.
- Remove all makeup and fake tan.
- Pull your hair back from your face, and include one photo with it down.
- Wear a white top
- Turn off filters, beauty modes and flash. Don't edit the photo.
- Take a close-up of your face, a photo showing your eyes clearly.

Once your photos have been approved, your 7–14 business day turnaround begins. If we’ve requested additional images or another attempt, your timeframe will begin once the new photos have been approved.
